So, my order came in yesterday with several products for my clients and a couple of toys for the PSD...
I put new Bilstein 5150s on the nose as the rears are still in production, but backordered. The truck drove sooo much differently with new shocks. The BDS units that had been under it for 42k miles were shot. In fact, I'm pretty sure they were rated for a 5.4 truck and the dealer just sold me them because he had them on the shelf.
Then, I installed the new Firestone Ride-Rite Airbags. I had to cut the u-bolts a little shorter on the top, but the overall install was exceedingly simple and I was completely done with both sides in about 90 minutes! All I can say about these things is WOW!
I can't wait to hook onto the GN this weekend fully loaded to feel the stability!
