Hello everyone. My name is Shaun, Im from Fresno, Ca. and as you can clearly see im new to your fourm. I dont have a diesel truck but i do have a diesel car. *hangs head in shame* I have an 85 Ford Tempo diesel. I just picked up this pile from a junk yard here and and well i just cant help myself. I gota play with it. Little backround on myself. Iv been racing for about 10 years now and got my big start racing a 2k escort zx2. Not be quick to judge it was fast for what it was. My new car is a 07 mustang gt. Its no turd eather. [email protected] mph. Intake, tune, no cats, and 100 shot of nitrous. So thats not bad. My big project is an 86 Fox body mustang. This is gona be the fast car. 416 Ci windsor, c4 trans with a break, build 8.8 with 3:55 gears (probably gona break) and a gt47-88 turbo to top it all off. Im gona tune it for 970 wheel so it should make some good numbers down the track.

Im taking my old escortm(seen above) and transplanting that tempo motor in it. I dont care about somg cuz there is always a way around that. It should be a fun little toy. Its gona be a fule mileage car maybe even auto x it some time. that should be funny as hell. Well iv ran my fingers off enough. I look foward to joining in on your topics.

Is that the original motor in the Tempo, or was it a transplant?

Ya its the first motor in the car. it was owned by a couple of old people that towed it behind their rv so its been around but the mileage is really low. i cant wait to put that in my zx2. its only 2200 lbs with the cage and the old motor in it. So it should get *****en mpg
