Well I picked my truck up from DI friday. Tell you what DI knows what they are talking about when it comes to trannys.

So this is what a new full built tranny feels like compared to a stocker with 160k on. The shifting is ferm but really smooth also. Before the tranny would shift hard and you could tell it locked in but almost to the point that I thought the tranny was going to come out the bottom of the truck. DI reburned my chip to tune it with the transmission. Now it slides into gear really smooth but is locked in gear. Already been putting it through the tests. David at DI said that the firm shift on the chip and the shift kit in the transmission were just a little to much he about go whip lash when he test drove the truck after the transmission was in.

Sounds like a happy customer. Service to reflash the chip to make it right is the icing on the cake for a full service shop.

Glad to hear it is set for you, now to update your sig line with the new bell & whistle :)
