Well my turbo has been making more noise since our last trip towing the TT in mid December. It got worse last week. So I pulled the intake tube to check for play. I'm pretty sure I should not be able to pull/push the shaft in and out this much. SO, on the way from ITP is a new GTP38R BB turbo. Woo, Hoo!
