sounds like you need a new fuel pump,i think there is two,one in the tank and one out,the small one just feeds the big one,i think the one in the tank goes bad more frequently then the big one.i would check out the pumps.

94-97 PSD's have one fuel pump and its in the valley behind the filter cannister. If your filter cannister is full then I think your pump is working.

Are you getting white smoke when cranking?

it sat for a year??? charge the batts, try to start it then. or start it off of ether, let it run for a while and then get some fresh fuel in it. give it an oil change too. i bet it will run like a champ after that.

like stroker said, one pump in the valley on the engine behind the fuel bowl. nothing in the tank.

with charged batteries, i still have no fuel being pumped to the fuel bowl, any more ideas??
thanks again guys

I apologize, I didnt see that after you had drained the filter cannister that it never did refill. Make sure that you can get fuel through the pickup tube in the tank to the fuel pump, if you can then I would think your fuel pump may be dead. If you cant, then your fuel line is fubar.
