No lights?

I was driving to work yesterday morning and my cluster lights, climate control went black, no lights. I have also noticed that I have no parking lights or tail lights. I might have brake lights have not checked that. the fuse checks good, what could it be?

ok I admit it, I was banging on the dash because my radio has a short in it.
I have brake lights just no tails no cluster or climate control

The cluster lights go out when your tail lights go out. Why no tail lights? Rats or something ripped out the wire from under the truck. Get crawling.

No not really. Both clamps are corroded and I broke the bolt off of one getting it off. The posts looked really bad before I cleaned them. I'm afraid the alternator is overcharging them.
But what would this have to do with my lights going out when I hit the dash?
I have a suspect radio harness that looks like my 6 year old rigged up
Change it?

Uh, it was a fuse. I took it to the local Ford dealer and they said it was a fuse. I asked under the dash and he said "under the hood I think".
I did not know there was a fuse box under the hood or I never thought to look there.

The dash lights are tied to the tail lights so you know that they are burned out when you drive at night.
