and deletes and more. The EPA and other government offices and going and have started to test trucks for tuners and DPF deletes. I found this out tonight when I was pulled over for a DL and ins. check point. Guy stuck a sniffer in my trucks pipe and then asked if I had a tuner. I told him NO and he walked up and jacked in to my truck to see. I told him he could not do that and he said they take my DL on the spot and impound the truck. So I called my cuss (he's a state attorney) and he said then can do it because driving on government funded roads is a privilege and they have the right to take your rights to dive on them away any time.

That is no fun. They can't just pull us over, in California, and check for tuners or DPF deletes. We get Smog Tested every two years, in major population counties.

That is not our big issue with our gov't. Gun Control is. Our famous female senators are making a big deal out of making potential gun owners file all sorts of background proof of competency and lack of criminal back round. Our Female Senators are not going to get re-elected.

True, I see a mess of problems coming soon. But I see a lot of people walking around with no idea that there going to have no rights at all. The government will tell them how to live there life. Then there going to kick them self later.

Like Dogman sez Dave.. Not For Long. It's coming. Any Cali vehicle with Commercial plates is subject to CARB/EPA complience inspection, even now. But they don't do much of it with us "commoners" [YET] due to manpower.. but it's coming. Stuff like Stacks, Lifted trucks, Straight pipes (sound) ect. could be Probable Cause for a "Safety Inspection" ?? Random Roadside (pull over) Checks ??

I heard this from a very good friend who's retired from the CHP Commercial side of things.. stays in contact with his buddies ??

    It's come'n.

In our messed up state, any thing could happen. And it might Happen quicker than I am thinking. The bottom line is always $$$$, and we don't have any to spare for these "improvements".

I heard about it, The thing the EPA does not get is that fuel quality plays a big part in mileage and the amount of crap pumped out.

Roger That. One of the topics at a FOMOCO training thing I went to was on Fuel Quality. #2 ULSC Diesel is so refined down.. it's CRAP. Ford recommends an additive be used on ANY Diesel.
