I went looking for info about a project I may have coming up, and I found this site. Looks like a great place to be! Now a little about me:
I've built some interesting rigs over the years, mostly sleeper hot-rods. Although I've been mostly a MoPar guy over the years, Fords are high on my list also. In fact my first car was a Maverick with a 302. (Damn that thing was fast!) And though I like Fords, I've always seemed to end up with Dodges.
A few years ago I got an IH Scout 2 in trade for an old motorhome, and have been hooked ever since. And once I found out that the Ford diesels are actually IH motors, it made me crazy about the Excursion. This spring I may actually be able to get one (finally!
). We shall see though.
I'm looking forward to learning as much as possible about these diesels. And it looks like there's plenty here to read.
