when I plugged my truck in tonight, i felt an electrical charge when I touched metal. This is not static shock. it is a small continuous charge that gets worse when you touch bare metal (i.e. bumper). It can be felt all over the truck. even the door handles. I've never noticed it before, so i unplugged the truck, to troulbeshoot, and it stopped. :dunno

I don't know if this is related or not...but after hunting today (2 hours), the truck wouldn't start. So i cleaned the batt. terminals with a wire brush and it fired right up.

what the heck is going on? please help:dunno :rant

Look closely at the cord right at the plug. That area is a very common spot for the insulation to crack and wires to break.

Last time it happened to me, I replaced the cord end just like doing an extension cord. Still working!!:sweet :sweet
