odd question regarding nerf bars

Odd question- I have the grey plastic running boards unders the doors(from the factory) and I would like to upgrade to a nice set of stainless nerf bars. Does anyone make a set that prodtrudes out further from the truck than normal-in order to act as a door stop for the idiots who cannot respect their vehicles nor anyone elses?? Or am I just wishfully thinking here? Thanks in advance
