I agree on the exclusive use of Motorcraft filters.... oil, fuel, and air.
You can't go wrong using what was designed to be used in your engine.
Besides, if there ever is a problem, that's just one more area that can be used against you: "See? You used an aftermarket filter. That's what caused the problem. Warranty claim denied."
