I installed my Accufab 90 today and there was oilin the factory elbow. Is that normal? Truck is running great. Would the CCV mod prevent this?
Question Oil in intake?

Yes and yes. The oil is from the ccv.

Yep, but the racor mod is a little expensive imo. I was wanting to do a little homemade deal but haven't decide on a design. I was thinking about those condensers you put inline of air lines???
you can check out my photobucket pics in my sig and you can see what my ccv had done. Around that same time I took those pics, I took a dremel (yea, I was bored) and used a wired wheel and cleaned up the Y pipe. In no time that thing was covered in oil again.

thers a better site but I can't find it. You re-reoute the ccv to this filter and it takes the oil out. Someone else can probably give you some better/in depth info about it
