Just wanted to come in and say hello. I have a 2003 7.3 that I love. Only 55,000 miles to date and I have no plans of getting a new truck. Look forward to jawin with everyone.

Welcome, always glad to have new blood on the SSD. 2003 with a 7.3 is rare, then only 55,000 is a real rare one for sure. Post some pictures when you can.

Welcome aboard. Yes 55K on an '03 is rare. Mine is an 02 with 161K.

I wanted to get a 7.3 before Ford quit using them and of course they only used them for that half a year in 03. Really the only thing that I've had to have done to this truck is new ball joints put in at 40K. Pretty much a stock truck with the exception of a set of 285 tires. It sits around alot, but gets the job done when I need her. Still has the original batteries, but I'm a figgering that I'll be putting a couple in her come winter.

You bet I'm the Great Dane in my area! Though I try to drive nicely, because my truck is very recognizeable here. I wouldn't wanna get a reputation. But it's good to have that extra size for superiority in the traffic
