My dad gave me this truck long time ago. He bought it new. Special ordered. 1977 F250 4x4 high boy. 351m 4spd. Has almost 195k on it with no major engine work and has original clutch. I will restore it one of these days. I drive it every now and then just to keep it goin.

"68", those are some nice toys. My dad bought a 78 F-100 new and when he passed in 1991, it only had 49,000 miles. He and my mom also had an 82 Fairmont with 56,000 miles, and I inherited it and mom kept the F-100. She later sold it to a neighbor whose son wrecked it a few months later. I should have convinced her to keep the car and let me have the truck. It was a 300 cid 6 with three speed. I also like your 58/60 panel truck. They both should really look great when restoration is complete.

Thanks silverstroke! Well atleast you got to keep one vehicle of your dads. You got any pics of the truck and fairmont? Was that fairmont a 2 or 4 door? I always wanted a fairmont station wagon or 2 door and drop a built 460 in it for drag racing. I love those old Ford trucks. Thats all we have over here. I could never get rid of my 77 since it was my dads first new vehicle he ever bought. It needs lots of work since its really rusted badly but luckily the aftermarket has lots of parts for them. I've kept all the vehicles I have ever owned. Most are just old cars and trucks that arnt worth much but mean alot to me. I havnt workd on my panel truck in yrs. Its safely in our barn. Right now its got some body work done and sitting on a full size bronco frame. But I think Im gonna put it back on the original frame and slam it to the ground and drop the 460 out of my van and put an old IDI banks turbo diesel in the van that my cousin is giving me.
