Hi all can you help me with 2 codes i have and what they mean. Thanks
P 1249 : Wastgate Fail Steady state test. ????
P0475 : Exhaust Press Control valve malfunction.????
All so what is a p0603 code ????

the exhaust pressure control valve malfunction can be a couple of things
1) EBP sensor / sensor tube malfunction the sensor is by the HPOP reservoir and the tube leads down to the right exhaust manifold (US passenger's side)
2) Actual EBPV in turbo exhaust outlet is not moving due to failed actuator arm or bad electrical connection.

The sensor tubes have been known to get clogged with soot and/or rust out over time Most people suggest replacing the tube & the sensor together since they tend to bond over time and are not easily separated
