Finally tracked down my battery drain. I was losing about 40% of charge in a week's time. Current draw after about 45 minutes (computers all sleeping) was about 150 milliamps. Isolated the largest draw to the older insight monitor. With Insight unplugged from OBDII the sleep current drain dropped to about 20 milliamps so under the 50 milliamp max level. To solve the issue, I installed a general purpose relay on the hot wire (pin 16 red wire) in the Insight OBDII harness and tied it to an ignition wire so wire is now only live when ignition is on. On a day to day, the monitor seems to be retaining memory okay and fires up normal. Problem solved!
