PCM? Question

Can I take a PCM out of a pickup and put it into an X? Just a thought for a possible future change in vehicles.

Yes you can,you will have to unplug the PATS box right of the stering column.I think it is a green plug,been a while sense I did mine.

More programing available for the truck computers (7.3's).
I was told they also make more power.

I thought it was an X mod. Yes, I am thinking about buying a 7.3l X and swapping everything from my truck to the X. I want to keep my NVK4 PCM so that I can still use my PMT1 chip. Then I will sell the truck as a basically stock truck. Ever since we got rid of our mini van we would like another people hauler that runs on homebrew. Just a thought right now.
