Help Needed Power Steering stumper

Hey Everyone, question to all. I have a 2001 F350 4x4 non dual super duty 7.3L . My power steering pump is nice and quiet,makes no out of the ordinary sounds but i lose my power steering quite often. at a dead stop i can NOT steer it, its totally manual, fluid it topped up, could it be the power steering box? any help would be appreciated, thanks

I'd have to tell you to put a gauge on it at the box and see what pressure it's getting.. if the brakes are not affected, I'd say the spool valve in the gearbox head is indeed the culprit
