Ok... Busy day. Gotta prep the X for a cross country tow. Should total up 5k miles.

Here's the list:

1. Oil change
2. Fuel filter change
3. Trans oil flush/change
4. Diff oil change
5. Grease suspention zerks...
6. Check SCA's
7. Clean battery terminals
8. Check spare & fuse replacements

I already had it aligned, the tires rotated, and the brakes inspected. I still have no fix for my cruise control problem. I'll be avoiding cruise, it just gets the trans hunting in the hills anyway. :dunno

What am I forgetting?

Check your spare, fix a flat, jack etc....

Books on CD are nice to listen to on long hauls, unless you've sat radio.

I do need to check the spare. I've never had it out. We have a 6 month old, so I dunno how much of the books we'd get to hear. Good suggestion though. :thanks

All good stuff. Which reminds me, I need to pick up a gallon of oil.

The rest is already onboard. We'll be pulling the TT.

Go'n out to Kali to dock with the corperate mother ship for a few days. Then spend a few more visiting with friends and family. Have to take my son out to see great grandma, and meet his aunt and uncles. -popcorn

Jumper cables, tow strap, shackles (to hook up the tow strap), case of MRE's (emergency food), lots o' water, candles, matches, blankets (weather crossing the Rockies/Sierras will probably be a little unpredictable), 12v air compressor (I've got one and it's sloooooooooooooow, but it works well as long as you don't mind waiting), flares/warning triangles, spare CPS and the tools to change it, DUCT TAPE, hose clamps, and the rest of the list runneth over........

Yeah I've gotten similar word off the grapevine that the price of #2 is up there in Cali but were braced for the gradual price increase the farther west we go along 10 ;)
