Experience is a good teacher, and has tought me to be patient, work hard (research), and get what I want the first time.

There are plenty of F250's out there, and dealers are offering all kinds of incentives on them. For $30k+, you should be sure to get what you want IMHO...

How is it set up? F550's can come with or without a bed, etc. I assume it is a dually (I thought all 550's were). The other thing is how frequently you tow. The 550 is certainly a powerful tower, made to put up with a lot more abuse. What gears? 4.88's? I think they also ome with 19.5's. That is another issue. The tires available in half sizes (19.5, 22.5, 24.5) are only truck tires. They have more ply's (like 16 vs. 8-10) and are made to take loads. They ride like crap, are terrible in snow (even 4WD), and are more expensive. I would not go for that truck. There are better options for you.
