PRO'S and CON's

PRO-
1)No oil mist in the charge air tubes.
2)Keeps the connector hoses lasting longer and helps to keep them from blowing off.
3)No oil mist getting on the turbo impeller...possibly helping to bring dust into the system.

CON-
1)Depending how it is done, you could have a oil smell.
2)Once again, depending on the setup, you may have to empty a catch can once in a while.
3)If vented straight to atmosphere, it could be an issue with a smog tech...not sure on this one though.


It is on my to do list...just gotta find some time to get to it.

Pro's: Keeps the intercooler tubes from popping out of the rubber boots at the worst possible time.

Cons: Keeping that "pro" in mind, I can't think of any cons worth mentioning.

I was told that the oil mist acted as a lubricant in the chamber:dunno. But I have always re routed them on my gasoline engines

the biggest CON is that you are DUMPING all that blowby oil onto the ground.

think micro-sized Deepwater Horizon...

get a Racor CCV and show mother earth how much you love her

wouln't dump it, looking at filter set ups. just woundering if there was a down side to changing it
