My dad just got off the phone with the niece. We didn't get either one of them

A good friend of my Dad's got the Cadillac. He use to own the local Lincoln-Mercury dealership and he buys old cars to restore and resale.

A good friend of the her Uncle's got the pick-up.

My bid on the Caddy was 1051.00 and on the pick-up was 3151.00.

Our bids were a good ways off, but oh well, we tried.

Bama, sorry you didn't get them. Since they both are 25 years old or older, they are considered classics which probably made the price higher. Usually when a vehicle becomes 25 years old, it's a classic, no matter the make.

Good- I'd hate to think of you drivin' a Chebby :tounge

:D Funny guy

I was looking to just clean 'em up some and resale 'em to make some extra dough.

I actually bought me another pick-up, and it just happens to be a Chevy

Bought it from my brother-in-law for 2 grand. 1997 Xcab short bed.

Yep. I sweated over my bid price for a whole day and still came up pretty short. Maybe another opportunity will come along.

No real loss. Bama, your dad should really be driving a diesel anyway. :D

Well, we are going to be getting the Cadillac.

The high bidder is a good friend of my Dad's and he told us we could have it
at this bid of 1512.00. He had plenty of Caddy's already. So that's only 461.00
than the bid we put in.

Well, we went and got it this past Saturday.

Put in a fresh battery and after about 10 seconds, it started right up.

Gonna need some tuning up though.
