that all makes sense but the gravity thing, I figured when you broke through it would leave a little, guess not

If you are worried about the chips, use a small magnet and the vacuum to get all of it out. What ever makes you sleep better at night.

I would put it in the manifold. WGAS about what is after the turbo? AFAIK it is not linear so you can't just add 300 degrees to it. Best to get it at the manifold which is closest to the combustion chamber

Don't do that as that hood tach is unique and a rare factory option that makes your car worth more money to a collector.

hood tach???????? If I was a collector, I would want to buy a truck that had some kind of monitoring system on it (such as a pyro) so I know the guy I'm buying it from someone who knew what they was doing and kept his truck within limits. But we aint very big on collecting around here anyways.
