question on biodiesel

I am interested in making of biodesel. I have been reading some of the artickles on the net, but I have not read what happens to the glycerine separation and the whashing water. Are these two things waste product? Can you send them down the drain or do they need to be shipped off with the proper documentation?

They can both go down the drain. The glycerine is a soap base and can be used if you want to make soap.
