My hoses are 6 1/2 years old with over 204K and still look good and feel good.
When are others changing hoses? Some years ago all hoses were changed about every 2 ~ 3 years.

Thanks for replies

well, what I'd do is pull them and inspect where they go around the necks for pitting.

Hoses actually deteriorate from the inside to due to electrolysis (stick the pos lead of your DVOM in your coolant, ground the other lead - you will get a voltage reading)

then, while I have them off, replace them anyway.

man if i were gonna pull 'em id have a set of replacements in my
hands waiting....as they say...they dont make 'em like they used to...

im assuming the coolant has been flushed atleast a couple times w/ that
kinda mileage.

the lower hose is only 30 bucks, i doubt the top hose is much more.
