I have a 99 Superduty, and I want to know if this will fit in it
6 Disc In Dash Changer From an 03-04 Escape

Also easier or harder than installing a Pioneer Doubledin unit?

no it wont work you need to send it to me! lol Just Kidding , i have changed out several different radios between ford products in the past and i have found that most will interchange .

Interchange, as in I need to resplice new plugs/harness, or should just plug and play?

you may have to do some splicing but it may be just plug and play. Im thinking it will be

direct replacement. 2 min swap. double din aftermarket however is not a drop in on a 99-04. those radios r din width but a lil short. i have done em but they require some trimming.

I just bought one out of a mercury off e-bay for my X. One thing to check for is the connections on the back. Look at yours and make sure the one you are buying has the same number of connectors.
