Ready high winds last weekend!!!!

I was at Willow Springs raceway near Edwards AFB for a vintage sportscar race and we had some terrific winds! I have a bed cover named "Fold-a-Cover" and it usually sits down well when folded and the 5th wheel is used but it nearly blew loose. I unfolded it and clamped it down well and the wind came in the notched tailgate and nearly lifted the rear of the truck off the ground at 60MPH!!! Sure glad we don't get stuff like that in San Diego area!

Typical Santa Ana winds. I have seen 75 mph winds in the desert around Palmdale and Victorville.

I experienced those strong head winds last Friday as I was going west on 58 from Barstow to Bakersfield. It was worst at Boron. I stopped at that rest area and when I opened my door ... holy smokes!

I think the same thing is coming threw here. Really high winds and tornadoes tomorrow with hail. Great just what I want to be out in.

Yes we are getting the high winds down here in McAllen Texas right now.
We wanted to head toward home but the wind was at 50 MPH + at times today.
Will try again on Wed maybe.
