rant Rear View Mirror

I move down from a 03 Crew Cab to a 06 Super Cab. Well, I probably shouldn't have, but it's done. What's with the rear view mirror. I though it was a change made in new trucks, but after looking at other trucks, I think that the Super-cab just has a smaller mirror that also sits closer to the window, which interferes with my pod that hangs above the mirror.

yeah pulled mine off. my window was cracked anyway, so when installing new one Ill have it glued on lower.

I have a 99' super cab, and after reading this thread I ordered a new window for a 2003 4 door and the mirror lug was already lower than the super cabs lug and the "super-duty" covered up the back of the gauges perfect. the new windshield fit my 99' with no problems, just cost a little extra. kinda wish I read some ware that the windshield mounted gauges don't work on non 4 door trucks.
