Rear Wheel Spacers for the Dually???

I did some additional searching and found some info on other sites and boards where several F350 dually owners had installed 1/4 or 1/2 inch spacers between the rear wheels after doing to the 235 size tire from 215. The failures seemed even between the loaded and unloaded driving too. My door plate says 215x85x16 is stock but the truck came with 235x85x16 in all 6 places. So, with running the risk of getting folks pissed off about Chinese made spacers or Korean lug nuts, has anyone seen this done or had to do it themselves?

215s were on mine when new. Part of the Sale was to put 235s on. Been running 235s on mine with No spacers, No problems.

the POS GMC I did the head gaskets & injector pump on last summer has 235's on it w/o spacers

I think I'll put some white paint stripes on each inside tire and see if it transfers to the outside tire tomorrow. I'll let everyone know what happens.
