150k is nothin on a Ford diesel. Older Fords are rare to find any less than 150k. And if you do they will want a lot for them. 7.3's are very reliable and can be powerhouses with some upgrades. I bought my 99 7.3 with 242k on it and it now has 270k and I havnt done anything to it besides some performance mods. 6.0's had issues and were very expensive to fix. Once everything is done like the EGR delete and headstuds, you have a freakin hotrod thats bulletproof. Just costs alot to get it where you want it. 6.4's seem to be great minus the fuel mileage. Heard good things about them other than that. 6.7's seem to be great too. Has alot of epa bs on them though so check to see if yer state inspects trucks for epa stuff, if they dont, remove that crap. Other guys will chime in about the other trucks, i just know about the 7.3's. The motor they shouldve never quite making!

Hello Luke and Welcome to SSD.com Look for a low millage 7.3, yes hard to find
but they are out there. I love my 6.0 and it only has a 4in ex and gages. If your looking at a 6.0 go for a 06 or 07 year, they seam to be a little better.

I agree with Doug. I have a 2005 6.0 and (knock on wood) it has been the best truck that I have ever owned. If you get a 6.0 stay away from the 03 - 04 models.

I like my 08 f250. It runs really good now that I have a tuner on it. Mileage still stinks. Gone from 13 mpg to 14 to 15 mpg city now. Hwy I have no clue right now. But have not had any problems to date.
