I've got the remote keyless entry on my '02 and it just started intermittently failing. I replaced the battery in the remote thinking it was the problem, but that was a no go. I have to hit the button repeatedly for it to work (if it decides to).
Funny thing is, if I sit inside the truck, it will work fine. But the second I close the door, it wont work at all. Where is the receiver inside the truck? I've gotta try a different remote when I get home to make sure my remote isnt bad, but I have a feeling its fine. How hard is that part to get to? How much does it cost to replace?
Any help would be much appreciated!
