In the future I will replace my OEM LT 245/75R/17E tires. I normally automatically buy Michelin Tires.

Do the tire manufactures have an ANSI test method to measure tire rolling resistance? If so do you give up life of tire mileage? Tire load specs?

A less resistance tire should increase MPG

Thanks for any replies

less resistance USUALLY means less GRIP too...couple that w/ RAIN
and some LONG WEARING tires can get pretty dicey

Yep. The stock General's on my 04 wore like rocks for about 45k and then vanished in the last 5. A little rain will have your hair standing on end if you need to stop NOW.
