i leaving now to slc utah and back on sunday, moving my mom in law back here, i have the member help list with me just in case, hope i dont need to call you , but if i do i would be so thankful.
trk has 260k on it now lets see what she can do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I wasn't able to get you my avg mpg here before you left on your trip. I just got my truck back last night from the shop. So far my avg mpg is between 9 and 11 miles per gallon. I hope overall I am getting better than that but I really don't think so.
Good luck on the drive, I did the same once. One way non-stop it took around 23-26 hours.

got back late last night!!!

Dang MIL

total trip came out to 3198 round trip from here houston to slc and back.
i averaged 12mpg @ 70-80mph if thats good or not but with no trk problems there and back . on the way back i weighed in at (13,780lbs) and blew a tire on the trailer(just outside of amarillo), it ripped off my fender,brole some lights and left some weird tread marks on my driverside wall of the cargo trailer. and the only reason i knew i blew a tire was when it happened my fender passed me at 65-70mph and scared the **** out of me.

yep it passed me and then i went back for it. dang thing is going to be a pain to bend back in to shap too bad for the neighbors when i do it tomorrow
