I just threw a 2 inch leveling kit on an 08 F-350 Superduty Diesel and reused the stock shocks.....I was wondering if any vendors or other companies associated w/ the forums sell shock extenders to get me back that 2 inches of useful shock travel......the truck never goes off road...is only a few weeks old...I'd hate to purchase 4 new longer shocks...any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hey also...anyone have any trouble with the 2 inch billet blocks (pucks) that go under the spring? Was curious if anyone had their springs spin or cause problems w/ brake or ABS lines that are hooked to the "now able to spin/twist" springs...thanks again...

2" blocks shouldnt be an issue as long as everything is tight.

i dont know about the new '08 style, but most trucks are ok with an extra 2" on the stock shock length.

I actually did it on my boss's truck...he says that there is only about 1 inch of extension left on the shock as far as travel....he's worried that he will hit a bump big enough to unload the suspension and the shock will "bang" on the extension...Im sure it would be fine but he's bent on getting some extenders so.....here we are....lol :dunno

I wouldn't worry about it, but if he's bent on it, he should just brake down and buy some new shocks for the front, you don't need anything fancy.
