Hey guys. I do not like the way Rachel's 05 Ex handles when pulling our trailer. (Amazing how much difference the extra 2' my truck has and towing). But it also feels that the shocks are inadequate (sp). For you who have changed out your shocks, which did you prefer. We are talking about a stock height Excursion and my understanding is that Bilstein does not make a shock for that application, or the discussion would be mute. If I am mistaken, please let me know.

Thanks in advance. Getting ready for another trip with hers as the tow rig.

Barrett after our first long haul tow from California to Texas it was clearly evident that the stock shocks was as suspected just plain jane no frill shocks nothing more.

We quickly purchased the 9 position Ranchos which had released just about the same time to the market, the F350 blocks (just under 4") was installed and still had plenty of shock travel.

When we go into tow mode the shocks get bumped up 2 positions, what a difference:thumbs

Going back a few years I know Bilsteins were available for Excursions:sweet
