Snow Performance Stage II Diesel Boost Cooler

Just wondering if anyone is running this system, and if so, how they like it. Seems like a significant upgrade. It says to expect " about +75 HP and 250* F drop in EGT's" for about $500 bucks.

However, with my lack of boosted diesel experience, I don't want to throw expensive mods without knowing what kind of potential this system has.

Pros? Cons?

I don't do any major pulling, but I do have a heavy foot and like to race from the stop light

I'm always on the lookout for performace mods.

I read somewhere that set-up (water/methanol) is deffinately not the best thing to run in our trucks. Why dont you do superchips DPI?

Can propane injection hurt my engine?

What about runnin alcohol? (heard someone mention that before, but I don't think this person was a diesel guy...just a random dude putting his 2 cents in)

YES, they both can hurt your engine. You MUST KNOW what you are doing to run any fuel that is added.

I started reading horror stories about running propane...then I decided it wasnt worth a new engine. But IF I did run anything ifor a performance truck (when I get the money) I would run the superchips DPI.

Thanks for the input, guys! I should probably take into consideration that these trucks are extremely heavy, and although they're quick for what they are, we're not building rocket ships.

Or maybe I am. I don't know any more.
