I just happened to think how easy it would be to switch the position of the nozzles in the holders. Might not fool a diesel user, but quite likely a gas driver.

I've seen different colors for diesel nozzles too. Mostly green and black and sometimes yellow.

that's just one of the screwball "Assistant managers" changing a pump handle and not giving a crap about the color..

I've only noticed 1 station around here that has a black handle for diesel...I don't shop there.

Any color under the sun is what I've seen, Green, Black, Red, Yellow. I read labels that's the only sure way.


BP uses green handle covers as their default for most pumps since green is one of their corporate colors you'll find that most BP stations will have all green handles on the gasoline pumps.

I think in florida it's what ever they can get. I read labels just to be on the safe side
