We just finished our solar eclipse. It got noticeably dimmer during the eclipse but not dark. It is now passed and back to normal brightness. Anyone else see it??

I remember the total solar eclipse in 1984. We were living near Beaumont, TX at the time and the eclipse occurred around noon. The day turned almost dark (as in dusk) for awhile then got bright again. Was really weird. Also saw the total eclipse of the moon awhile back, with similar "results" since it was a full moon.
