Okay guys I need your help in a bad way! I started with the sonnax install and wasnt paying attention to what I was doing and took off the wrong section. If you are under your truck and the front is north and the back is south I took off the sounthern most section at first. I drained it and started looking at the photos and realized what I had done. Finished the rest of the install without a hitch and know have takin a ride and the tuck wont shift unless I let off the throttle. Started looking and two of the small "balls" that were in that second section had fallen out! What do I do? The colors are like a brown and a greenish color. Can I just put them back in? I need all the help I can get!!!!! PLEASE

I have not taken off that section before, so I cannot say what goes where?:sorry I would contact a transmission shop and see if they could help you out over the phone.

thanks for the quick response. Update is that there are a total of 4 balls out two smaller green ones and two larger brown ones. Anyone ever made the "huge mistake" Anyone have any ideas?

yes sir that lower one on your first picture is the one I took off the first time. Do you have any idea how I can get those four balls back in so I can drive my truck?

The ATSG updates book has the ball locations. Not sure what year you have but I posted the pics below, w/o permission but I'll happily give them a plug. I highly recommend the Automatic Transmission Service Group manuals to anyone interseted in working on thier own transmissions. I own them for every transmission type I've worked on. http://www.atsgmiami.com
