Tried to start my truck (02 f250 powerstroke w/auto, 2wd) and i am having this problem. Turn on key & wait for glowplug light to go out and before it does i hear a click (like a ciruit breaker click) and all the dashlights go out!! tried starting but only get a solenoid click (both batteries charged to 100 percent and all terminals cleaned) turn off and try again same thing, turn off and try again without waiting, 'click' all lights out & solenoid clicking! never had a problem before even in colder weather ANY IDEAS, HELP!!

What makes you think they are fully charged???

Your problem sounds like batteries. If you haven't already go get them load tested.

Like Tbar said, you NEED new batteries, and no amount of charging will cure your problem. Good Luck.

Fresh batteries make all the difference in the world in starting. What you have is really one battery in two places. They are tied together, and that is why the die at the same time.
