For my next truck project, yesterday I went to a local Chevy and picked up an electrical plug. There is a junction box under the dash where hot battery, switched power and retained power is available. With the correct plug, you can plug right into the junction box to get the power needed. No cutting into wires required.:sweet:sweet

After getting the plug, I found out I needed some connector pins for inside the plug. They should have cost about .25 to .50 a piece. THEY WANTED $4.00 A PIECE FOR THEM!!!!! :bs:bs I politely told the guy he was nuts. I just ordered the needed pins from Mouser.com for .20 a piece.

And dealers can't figure out why people are hesitant to get their cars fixed with them.
