Can anyone tell me if you can swap out a 6.4 for a '03 6.0 in a 2008 F-series? Also will the '03 6.0 mount up to the automatic from the 6.4? the 6.0 currently is backed by a 6spd
Why would you want to do this, you must have a 2008 truck and if you put a older engine in it you will make the truck worth a lot less. Doug
You can do anything with enough time, money and resources. Swapping a 6.4 for 6.0 is just trading one set of problems for another, but at least the 6.0 problems can be addressed. Much easier to get 6.0 truck to start with. If swapping, why not consider a Cummins swap?
I read it as taking out the 6.4, in favor of a 6.0. Likely a lot of wiring harness to be swapped as well. Sent from my SM-G892A using Tapatalk
