Tailgate edge

Has anyone found a replacement for the plastic tailgate edge on these? Ford kind-of wussed out on this awesome well engineered piece of... technology. It's a wonder mine hasn't blown off going down the raod

NO, But I put a couple waffer tex screws in mine to keep that from happening.

A little dab of silicone under the plastic will do the job. Tape it down until the silicone cures.

NO, But I put a couple waffer tex screws in mine to keep that from happening.

A little dab of silicone under the plastic will do the job. Tape it down until the silicone cures.

I had to do the Same Thing(s) on our Sport Trax. :dunno

Yes it should. I've not done it personally, but I've seen a couple of superduty trucks with half ton tailgates.
