Anyone have any experience with Teltek Digital Gauges? I like to have these on my A pillar and the Outside Temp Gauge in my dash. The only thing is they might not dim and might drive me crazy:CRAZY at night

I'm also considering Autometers, Issopros, or ? I really like that outside temp Gauge. Kinda trick.

I just installed some ISSPRO gauges and I like them a lot.

You can tie the light bulbs of the gauges into the gauge illumination wiring to lower the light level. Makes it easier on the eyes.

I'm not sure how the Teltek digital LEDs are dimmed. Regular backlit gauges either incandescent or LED can be dimmed with the interior lighting inst cluster rheostat. I might just get that Inside/Outside temp Gauge, its different and useful if you ask me. I like the Issopro 3 gauge set, It would probably be smart to get the led ones EV2? Still think these Teltek are cool though

You can't dim the LEDs. They are solid state devices, like a transistor or diode. Not filament devices like a normal light bulb.

Didn't know that Dave, thanks for straightening that out.

HERE is a link to Dieselmanor's installation sheet that shows the dimmer wire under the dash.

In my truck it was a solid yellow wire.(#2 arrow is pointing to it)

ISSPRO claims to have an R772022 potentiometer for EV2 LED lit Gauges.

R72022- Lighting wire harness This harness includes a potentiometer allowing the user to daisy chain the lighting and adjust all gauges at once to the desired intensity. This harness can also be connected to the OEM dimmer for additional adjustability.

I Copy and pasted this to this reply. I suppose that the LED lit EV2's can be dimmed along with your cluster? I might get some EV2's. Diesel Manor also lists the R72022 Resistor.

P.S. still no bites on the Teltek Gauges?
P.S.S Autometer also has a Dimmer for there LED Gauges
