what year? i say stay simple and go FM modualted if that is an option.

if you don;t like the FM-modulation, you are propably gonna need a dongle . $75 - 100 or so.

Ford / Lincoln / Mercury or crutchfield.

fm-mod is fine for me since the stream is not that much better than CD quality sound.

DP, her SUV is a 2004. it does have the SAT button.

not real sure as to which one i should get tho.

Glad to see you keepin the upgrades comin...i've considered putting a satellite
radio in mine...but other mods must take place first. Anyway, I hope you enjoy.

Bama does the Expedition which I believe is a 2004 have a factory DVD sytem installed?

The plug that the Auxiliary input adapter (FRD03-AUX/S) would use on the back of the stock stereo in your wifes Expedition well that plug is being used by the rear DVD system.

I can give Zig a call in the morning for his suggested alternative outside of FM Modulation.

I been to both sides of the fence with audio inputs and direct audio feed from the receiver is the best for sound quality hands down,of course then again I want the very best in my music.;)

hands down, the dongle is the way to go. just get the right one. its pretty plug and play, a lot easier than rigging up holiday lights fer sure.

i am a cheap bastard and stuck with the FM-mod. ('cept the jetta, the germans made it easy to use a 1/8 mini stereo connector and a $10 connector :) )
