well as i mentioned a few weeks ago i cleaned my egr valve before going on a trip to georgia to work for a few weeks. well i was on my way beck yesterday and had to slam on the brakes... and then when i tried to get back on it the truck was errratic and sputtering,etc. so i pull over and start thinking oh s*** i'm in the middle of mississippi and no one to call. so i thnk for a min. and then i was like syptoms sound like egr valve issues from all i've read on this site. so i turn the truck off and unplug it and it ran like a champ the rest of the way back home. just sayin thanks to everyone for all the input and knowledge on this site. it got me home-cody

Just leave it unplugged.

well it has been unplugged since sunday afternoon and then this morning it starts acting up again so i plug it back in and its fine then it starts again so i unplug it i dunno whats going on getting my buddy to scan it tonight and see
