If yer truck has the option should not work after you open the door. But if they still go down and up after you open the door then you got a problem.

your radio still works TOO its called KEY OFF DELAY or something...
pop a front door and the radio shuts off and your windows wont work
either.

Radio does not stay on though, ill have to try the windows after i open the door tomarrow!!

Yep after door is opened they do not work anymore

there should be a delay'd power wire in the radio harness...there is on
my 04...perhaps they didnt have that on the 99MY

Must be a Lariat I know most of the XLT's did not have that option until 02

Same here. I don't remember if my stock radio stayed on or not. My aftermarket one does not.
