My last truck was 01 F250 4x4, I had a leveling kit on the front and 3" blocks in the rear with air bags. The tires were 285/65/16. the reason why I had the leveling kit was for the tire chains (clearance) with a compressed suspension. The 08 4x4 F350 will need the same with the 275/70/18 Contitrac Continental TR tires. These tires are real bad on loose gravel and I'm sure they are bad in snow, ice & rain. Has anyone leveled there 08 and if you have what brand did you use. My suggestion for anyone wanting to use tire chains on the front of your truck is to get it leveled before. These trucks will drive through anything chained up, that's what separates Ford from GM stronger straight axle front.
