I would bet the 265's would rub the sidewalls together. My 235's don't have that much clearance, especially when loaded. The tires are probably within 0.1 inch in diameter (265/75 vs 235/85). Cheers!

Well it is hard to tell without actually measuring them. With the metric measuring systom, the first number is how many millimeters wide the tire is. The second number is the aspect ratio, I/E 85= 85% of the width is the hight of the sidewall from the rim to the tread. 75=75% and so on. So a 265/75/16 tire is about the same diameter as a 235/85/16 tire but just over an inch wider.

I have 265/85/16 on my truck and have to use a small spacer to keep a good amount of clerance between the rears. Good luck all you need is like a 1/4" spacer or smaller not very much.

Caution!!!: You need to be very careful if trying to use a spacer on an OBS truck as our wheels are hub-centric and not lug-centric. There will be no shoulder left on the hub if a spacer is used between the wheels. Cheers!
