Towing rates

OK, All I'm finding is the tow rate if 15k on a 05 F350 crew cab with 4.30 gears. I thought I saw something that had a higher tow rate of 16k but with a total of 26k with truck and trailer. Is this right?

That's a good question. I have no clue. I know it has a heavy tow package from what the dealer said.

A 2005 DRW with 4:30 gears is a TowBoss. Robert had one before he went to the dark side.

IIRC... the Guberment (NTSB ?) has recently Cracked Down on ALL the Pick-Up makers to advertise REAL Tow/Haul ratings, based on engineering/build Specs ? It's not jus " mine'z bigger'n better than yourz".. to make a Sale anymore. Might wana look into that ?
